Well, last night was a position round in my bowling league. We were 1/2 a point ahead in first place. We won 2 out of 3, but I believe the third place team (1 point behind going into the night) won all three. So we are possibly tied for first right now.
How did I do? I was not very consistant. I shot a 236, 160, and 224 for 620. It was a hard fought 620. In the middle game, I landed in 10-pin land. If I moved out for more angle, I had a 4-pin or worse. If I moved in and slowed it down, it was still a 10-pin. I ended that middle game with back to back 7-9 and 4-9 leaves.
Overall, it was a fun night (as always) and our team took 2 out of 3 points. We should still be in first (even if tied). There’s always next week for personal scores, but shooting 620 and having the team win 2 of 3 is better than shooting 750 and the team winning none. Go “Fat is Good”! (yeah, that’s our team name)
